Coding for All Ages

Help me give my students the opportunity to continue to grow their love of coding. The Anki-Cozmo and Osmo Kits will give them a chance to code beyond what they have learned in class.

My Students

My students are taking computer science and algebra 2. I am trying to stay up to date on technology. Therefore, I am getting resources to help students understand the material that they need. As well as helping them to get the information they need.

Students love to learn and especially if they can use technology.

Technology is always changing and with change we need to continue to grow with it as well. I would love to see my students use some of the technology that is now out there for them to program with.

My Project

Students in my class get a chance to learn to code if they are in a programming class. However, everyone in school should get the opportunity to learn to code as well. With the help of Kano-Pixel Kit, students will learn how to create a light up the fixture and change what it is supposed to do.

The Gravity Maze Marble Run Logic Game will help students to figure out how to get a marble from a starting position to a target.

This will allow students to work out a problem and figure out the orientation to be successful. So this allows students to be creative but challenges them to think about what the marble will do.

The Osmo kits will allow students to see other sides of coding. We can look and see how these kits work and how they may have been created. This will allow my students to become comfortable to see that computer science is not just about programming, but it is also about creating.
