My Students

I teach at a Title I school, where the majority of the students receive free or reduced lunch, universal breakfast, and food packs to go home every weekend. These amazing kids are eager to learn and very creative. We make the most of their education every day and aim to teach the whole child.

These students will thrive with rich, diverse, and engaging opportunities to discover the world through technology.

Every single student in my classroom has a passion to learn and the drive to succeed.

My Project

These educational Tello drones can be programmed to read codes made by students to meet specific standards in math as well as many other subject others. The use of mathematics can be fostered in finding area and perimeter, conversions, measurements, and general problem-solving skills would all be supported in a unique technology-based way. Not only are these drones fun, but they can also be used with endless possibilities such as photographing from above to map areas, study landforms, and much more. The opportunity to explore student's creativity with coding, technology, and general inquiry is detrimental to twenty-first-century learning and a growth mindset.
