My Project

I teach roughly sixty students at two elementary schools in grades 1-5. Many of my students did not have access to their gifted classes with me during COVID-19. My program is primarily hands-on, and we were forced to cancel in-person classes. It was very difficult to do project-based learning over the computer, so unfortunately, the program focus was not possible to maintain during COVID-19. I want to return to a STEM focus and go back to teaching coding to my students in an in-person setting. Teaching coding provides students with many skills to include problem-solving, a growth mindset, perseverance with hard tasks, trial and error, programming, and technology. Thank you for whatever materials you can provide.
