Coding Colors on the Go!

Help me give my students colored pencils, erasers, and pencil pouches to make color-coding kits for integrated computer science lessons!

My Project

Imagine young minds lighting up as they bring robots to life with vibrant color codes! To make this exciting learning a reality for all my students across my three school buildings, I'm creating portable Ozobot color coding kits. These kits will be the key to unlocking engaging computer science projects, especially as we explore crucial topics like climate and environmental science. By using color to command our Ozobot robots, students will develop foundational coding skills in a hands-on and intuitive way, fostering a love for technology and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Each essential kit will contain twistable colored pencils, allowing for precise and easily correctable coding which is a huge advantage for my younger learners who are still mastering fine motor skills and the concept of code.

Individual pencil pouches will keep each student's supplies organized, while durable erasers will ensure that mistakes become opportunities for learning and refinement. Finally, a sturdy storage container will make it simple for me to transport multiple kits between classrooms and buildings, maximizing their use and impact. These carefully chosen materials will ensure that the joy of coding with Ozobots is accessible to all my students, regardless of their location within the district.

Your generous support will directly empower my students to become confident digital creators and environmentally aware citizens. By providing these portable Ozobot color-coding kits, you'll be investing in hands-on learning experiences that bridge the gap between technology and real world issues. Imagine the innovative solutions and creative projects my students will develop as they code their way through lessons on ecosystems, conservation, and climate change. Please consider contributing to this project and help bring the power of portable programming to my eager young learners!
