I work at an amazing school that is completely dedicated to student success. The group of second grade students I have this year will benefit greatly from the opportunity to read, write and learn in an environment that supports the developmental needs of seven and eight year olds. I teach in a collaborative class which means a variety of needs are present.
My students are incredible individuals with various needs and strengths that I strive to differentiate for, on a personal level.
The progress my students have shown from their needs being met by generous donations, is evident in the data and formative assessments I collect daily.
The ARTS and STEM Coding go together when this project comes to life.
By helping bring a coding robot that can draw to my classroom, My student will be able to complete works of art while sharpening their STEM skills for future careers.
I can think of no better group of students that deserve to have access to these robots. My group of students are enthusiastic learners with diverse needs. 100% of the students in my classroom receive free lunch and breakfast, so they can start their day off and continue the day at full learning capacity. I can assure you that the group of learners I have are going to make a difference in the world. This is a small step in that direction.
Help my class learn to code and get drawing with STEAM-style robotics to create visual masterpieces.
If my students can imagine and code it, Artie 3000 can draw it!
