Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to school every day very excited to learn something new. They come from a community that values family, education, and hard work.

A lot of my students were very interested to learn that their intelligence is not fixed, but it is in constant state of growth.

The students are learning that making a mistake is alright, provided they do not give up. My students are learning there are multiple ways to solve a problem and that collaboration is often necessary when they are stuck. The students in my class want to be challenged on a daily basis in every area of the curriculum.

My Project

We are requesting for Ozobot starter kits and Ozobot markers to give my students endless possibilities while creating, playing, collaborating, and coding. We plan to start by creating color codes with Ozobot and markers and tie that with math, science, and art. Eventually, we will extend their experience to programming using Ozoblocky programming.

I teach in a school where my students are highly-motivated, hard-working, and innovative individuals.

They crave for new and exciting ideas that fuel their creativity and imagination.They enjoy collaborating with others, which help them develop infinite ideas and possibilities that they use in and outside of the classroom!
