Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching coding to elementary students is a exhilarating endeavor that fills my heart with passion. As an educator, I firmly believe in the transformative power of technology and its potential to shape the future. By introducing coding at an early age, we equip young minds with a language that unlocks creativity. Witnessing the spark of curiosity ignite in their eyes as they grasp the fundamentals of coding fills me with joy.

Every day, I witness our students eagerness to grasp knowledge, their hunger to expand their horizons, and their unwavering commitment to their education.

Despite the financial constraints they encounter, these students embrace every opportunity to learn and grow, making the most of the resources available to them. Teaching coding to elementary students is not just about preparing them for future careers; it is about nurturing their potential and cultivating a growth mindset. Please help us grow are robotics club; where student will be introduced to coding, coding language, and the engineering mindset. We currently have two robots for all of our students and these six sets will help us accomplish so much more amazing learning. We will be able to go from working with just 4-5 students at a time to being able to teach a class of 20 students.
