My Students
My class is a 1st grade ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) classroom. I am a first-year teacher and am starting out with nothing! ASD students truly benefit from different sensory objects and different types of learning tools than general education students. I want to transform my classroom into a room that makes these students feel safe and ready to learn. I have big plans for these kiddos and cannot wait to get started! Please help me help my kiddos learn and get ready for 2nd grade!
My Project
Coding robots promotes science and math by having students think about how to move the robot and where the robot needs to go next on the activity track. My kids are obsessed with technology, and I am always trying to keep them engaged in science and math. I believe this would be a great tool to use to let the kids explore.
Help me give my kids robots to promote engineering and the exploration of science!
My kids work so hard, and I believe they would truly benefit from using a scientific tool to complete assignments and different activities in the classroom.
