This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Reading is fundamental and learning how to code is as well. My class has been learning to code this year, and they have participated in the Hour of Code. By learning to code, the students have begun to learn a skill that will be needed in the future.

I have a classroom full of energetic fourth graders who are eager to learn.

We are part of a large metropolitan school district. My class is ethnically diverse. Our school has a large population of students who have various disabilities.

My Project

By using the Ozobot Bit Dual Pack Set, my students will have the opportunity to enhance their coding skills. The students have been learning how to code and this would provide them with the practice and the development of critical thinking skills they need to have for the 21st-century workforce. Students will collaborate and work cooperatively in teams to design a track for their Ozobot to maneuver. It is imperative that students be given the opportunity to have such experiences that will help prepare them and set up for a successful future. This kit will certainly give my students a head start.
