CodeQuest RVA: mBot2 AI and Robotics for 6-12 students

Help me give my students host "CodeQuest RVA" workshop for RPS middle and high school students, in collaboration with college students and industry guest speakers, helping MS and HS students understand how coding interacts with the real world.

My Project

mBot2 and its robotics arm kits, will provide hands-on learning opportunities, allowing students to engage directly with robotics and coding concepts. This approach fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration, making the learning process interactive and impactful.

My primary goals for this project are for my students to empower underserved 6-12 students in the Greater Richmond area by introducing them to the joy of computing and exposing them to potential career paths in STEM fields.

My students are not only eager learners but also dedicated mentors who want to share their knowledge and inspire younger students to embrace computing and robotics as exciting and accessible fields.
