This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, I love our creative, adventurous, and resilient students. They are all extremely active and love to learn by doing. Our students frequently comment on lack of access to equipment and the opportunity to try new things, specifically in relation to athletics. This equipment being requested speaks to the strong desire of our student body's interest in diversifying their experiences physically and will allow for students of all abilities to use them. Many of these items will allow us the chance to try new things in class, recess and all the amazing events here at our school.
