Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This upcoming school year, I will be teaching incoming freshmen and sophomores in high school. While this age group is enthusiastic and eager to learn, I find that they struggle with organizational skills which sometimes impedes their learning.
My goal in the 2025-2026 school year is to provide a classroom that is clutter-free and organized so that my students have an easier time learning.
I want to model what a clean classroom space looks like so that students can be better focused.
Many of the supplies I requested are basic school supplies and materials required to maintain a clean and organized classroom. Many of my students come low-income households where buying school supplies can be a struggle. Your donations would help ease the burden of potentially coming to school unprepared.
