Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Currently, at my school we wish to develop a professional clothing supply closet for our senior students to have access to. Some of my students come from backgrounds that make purchasing professional work attire an immense financial obstacle. I want to be able to provide my male students with adequate clothing attire that they can use in a professional work setting after they graduate.
As they say, clothes make the man.
These supplies I ask for will allow my students to be prepared for interviews and new beginnings in possible work settings that will expect them to dress in a formal manner. This also will foster their growth as professionals and confident individuals in the workforce in whatever field they choose to pursue.
