My students are diverse, kind, and accepting. They love learning and exploring new concepts. My school serves predominantly minority students. They are from several places around the world including Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Mexico, India, Iraq, and America. My classroom consists of 24 third-grade students who are currently in the process of acquiring a second language (English). I'm always looking for resources that will support the diverse learners within my class.
One hundred percent of the students who attend our school receive free or reduced-price lunches.
We have a highly diverse immigrant population. Students learn a lot from each other by respecting and accepting each other's differences.
My Project
Cold and flu season is upon us. Germs are inevitable, but we can contain them as much as possible with the requested materials. Clorox wipes can be used to wipe down desks, handles, knows, keyboards, and more, while Kleenex will be used daily along with the paper towels. Supplies are run low this time of year, so the Kleenex and Clorox wipes sent in August are almost out. These supplies would help keep us healthy.
Please help me give my students Clorox wipes and Kleenex to stay healthy during cold and flu season!
It helps tremendously when we are able to frequently clean our desks. It is also a big distraction when we run out of Kleenex and students need to get tissue from the bathroom. We appreciate your continued support.
