Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are second language learners and are in the bilingual program. Our school is a Title I school and the majority of my students qualify for the free or reduced-priced lunch program.

I teach all subjects in my kindergarten bilingual class.

There are 20 students with most of the time in Spanish. My students have been affected by tropical storm Imelda. My students are ready to move on and learn, and with donations made to our classroom, they will be able to accomplish this.

My Project

Clipboards are a great way to help kids be able to sit in flexible seating and still have a way to comfortably do their work.

Doesn't matter whether we are on the rug doing workshop or they are in their free choice independent work place, they can work from anywhere with these clipboards.

I believe this will help them be productive and successful with their work while allowing them to have a different hard surface to write on.

The name plates will help with getting to know each other and the plastic sleeves will help them last through the year.
