This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have the BEST students at MES in Chicago and my students deserve nothing but the best! Adding a climbing wall to our school's gym would provide numerous benefits to students, both physically and mentally. It would offer a fun, engaging way for students to stay active while improving their strength, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Climbing walls are an excellent way to introduce students to a full-body workout that engages different muscle groups, promoting better overall fitness. Additionally, it encourages teamwork and communication as students can work together to navigate the wall or support each other during climbs.

This climbing wall would provide an exciting alternative to traditional gym activities, increasing student engagement and helping to foster a positive attitude toward physical fitness.

Adding this dynamic feature would not only enhance our gym’s facilities but also inspire students to challenge themselves, build confidence, and develop resilience.
