This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is for picture books and gardening fun that support our weather, climate, and environment unit- no matter the weather.

Picture books that are diverse can integrate so many subjects and skills for our growing students.

Growing plants, learning how the weather and climate affect gardens and crops, and nurturing our student's growing curiosity will be the focus of this unit! These picture books, with their vivid colors and diverse characters, will add to our weather & climate unit as well as our plant unit. We want to integrate as many subjects while nurturing both plants and students, as we journey through a year of gardening- no whether the weather.
