This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need a climate and environment that they can collaborate and share ideas in an open space that invites positive friendly exchanges to out of the box thinking to work on challenge base learning projects. The futon couches and neon light will be setup to create a warm welcoming environment for teenagers to share and learn together utilizing their engineering design skills.
The right working environment can stimulate creativity and innovation.
Colours, lighting, sounds and arrangement all influence how creative people are. To encourage extraordinary ideas it is important to have an optimal creative space where free thinking flows easily. The best ideas are often a combination of insights from different people. The more people interact, the bigger the chances of stumbling upon brilliant ideas.
A positive inviting climate and environment helps build a classroom where learning thrives and social and emotional connections are made among students.
