Climate change is an issue that directly impacts every single person on the planet. Later this year students will be learning about climate change. They will be exploring the impacts on animals, wildfires, weather, and agriculture. The culminating activity to this unit is for students to create an invention that will help to mitigate one of the climate change issues explored in class.
Students will use markers, paint, tape, glue, and colored paper to create their inventions and a display board.
With the help of these materials and recyclable materials, students will build their inventions. They will be learning about marketing, creating an add to spread their invention world wide. Students will present their entire project in a display at a family community night event to share their learning with the school community.
