Help me give my students the opportunity to discover more about Climate Change & Earth Day by learning and exploring through books, puzzles, arts and crafts~ culminating with decorating their own water bottle. (Every drop counts!)
These materials are to be utilized on Earth Day 2024 in hopes that our students will have the opportunity to explore the growing concern about climate change in a calm peaceful welcoming space of our middle school library. Climate Change is a vital subject area that concerns all of us and we are challenged as educators to explore these concepts with students without scaring them. We hope our students will have access to new materials presented on climate change offering them insight into their world and the power they have to make a change.
The books, puzzles and water bottle crafts will empower, inspire, educate, and offer insight into the escalating topic of climate change through an interactive approach allowing students to explore their own creativity and recognize how important it is for us to celebrate Earth Day.
We are hoping to offer students a place in our library to come and explore the space, finding solace while learning about these relevant topics that affect them now and in the near future. We want to ensure that every student can empathize with their natural surroundings and inspire them to take action.
