My Project
My students are a dynamic group of third graders who are inquisitive about the world around them. These books on CLIMATE CHANGE and the ENVIRONMENT will help my students research the issues that are affecting our world. Through their research they will be able to use their academic discourse within small groups to brainstorm action plans to help the issue. They will create models of their ideas will legos and art materials. My goal is that these small groups of scientists in my classroom will create action plans that they will then share within our wider school community and our local community.
