This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This iPad and Apple Pencil will greatly benefit my students by assisting with adaptive communication. My students are unique learners and have limited language skills. Manipulating an iPad through drawing and touch allows them to express themselves in ways that comes naturally. Using an iPad will also increase how they learn and begin early research.

My goal is to provide the opportunity for my students to express themselves and communicate according to their natural talents and abilities to study the climate and environment.

I will use this iPad and Apple Pencil as a springboard to help students develop their language and expressive skills while being creative and having fun learning!
