Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our 4th Grade students would love to be able to start growing plants in the classroom. We have started to learn about taking care of the environment and would love to be able to plant our own seeds and watch them grow. As part of our grade level standards, learning about our state is extremely important. How exciting would be it be to contribute to the growth of our very own California Poppy?

Many of out students enjoy being part of the gardening club and this would expand their learning.

They love to plant flowers and herbs for our school garden. We are asking for enough pots, seeds and soil for all 4th graders; 150 students! to embark in this journey of learning the process of plant growth as well as help the climate and environment by planting more plants. The pots will allow the students to add their artistic design to help make the garden even more beautiful. Please help us help the environment.
