My Students

My students come to school every day ready to learn in new ways. This generation has been transformed into a very technology savvy group. Since August we've been slowly adding technology into our daily routine. We are finally at a point where we have included technology in every aspect of our day.

Majority of my students come from a lower income home and they don't get to experience the type of life that I did as a middle class child.

When my students come to school they know they are loved and well taken care of. There are many days that when the bell rings students ask and beg if they can stay after school; they don't want to go home. Sometimes school is the best location for these growing children.

My Project

My students need 30 mice to connect to their Chromebook to aide them with using technology. My students will be using the mice to help with the ease of using technology. We are constantly working on building their skills on the computer. These students need to be able to use various programs to complete any task at hand. I believe if they have a mouse to use instead of the track pad on the computer, then they will have an easier time completing task assigned on their Chromebook.

The students in my classroom will one day be the leaders of the world.

We want those leaders to be successful in all areas including technology. If my students have a mouse to use with their Chromebook, they will be able to quickly learn how to use different programs. A lot of times I've noticed that we spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to use the track pad instead of learning how to use new programs. I'd like to spend more on the part that will help my students in the future.
