My Project

I teach science in a Chinese immersion program, where I loop with my students through their middle school careers. YES, we learn science in Chinese! My students are bilingual and are bold to try new things. Even as we physically remain in a classroom in St. Paul, learning a new language is a great way to open doors to a new culture while fostering empathy and understanding.

A generous donation of STEM games will help my students make both interdisciplinary and positive social connections.

The power adapters and cables ensure our technology-rich lessons go off without a hitch.

We also need more storage bins to keep our hands-on lab supplies organized. Student-led discovery is a grounding principle in my science classes, which means utilizing a variety of materials.
