My Students
My students are awesome! I teach at a Philadelphia Public School that qualifies for Title I funding. My entire class qualifies for free breakfast and lunch. Most of my students live in a single parent household and some of them are being cared for by a foster family or extended family members.
Despite the challenges my students face, they come each day with a great attitude.
Many of them have faced hardships that you would never want any child to ever experience. I provide a safe, nurturing environment where kids can learn and progress.
My Project
Amid a global pandemic, schools are working on plans to reopen. Educators are trying to ensure their safety and well-being so they can focus on learning.
An air purifier will be an added tool to help remove germs from the air.
It will provide students who must sit in the same room all day a better quality of air circulating in the room so that all who enter can remain healthy. It is imperative that teachers and staff provide the cleanest learning environment we can so our young learners can thrive!
