My Project
Help give my students clear plastic storage bins to create a well-organized, student-centered kindergarten classroom where independence and responsibility can grow!
Kindergarten is a time when students begin developing the habits and skills that will shape their entire educational journey.
One of the most important things we focus on is building independence—encouraging students to take initiative, make choices, and take care of their materials and space. But right now, the lack of proper storage makes it difficult for my young learners to manage their environment successfully.
Clear plastic storage bins will help give my students the tools they need to thrive. With clearly visible contents and easy-to-use lids, these bins will allow children to access what they need—whether it’s math manipulatives, literacy games, or art supplies—without needing constant adult help. They’ll also learn to return items to the correct place, take pride in their classroom, and build essential organizational habits.
A well-organized classroom sets the tone for calmer transitions, more productive work time, and greater student engagement. Instead of clutter and confusion, students will be welcomed into a space that makes sense to them—one they can take ownership of. These bins will not only bring order to our shelves but also support the growth of confident, capable, and independent learners.
Help give my students the gift of organization and independence, and set them up for success this year and beyond!
