it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a kindergarten public school teacher in a low income/high need community, I try to expose my kindergarten students to all facets of learning in order to help them meet their potential and enjoy the learning experience.
I have a group of ambitious and eager public school students who love to read, write, and solve math problems.
They are learning to apply what they learned in order to comprehend and delve deeply into various fiction stories and non-fiction texts during reading workshop and guided reading. They are also learning how to apply various math and science concepts to solve higher-order problems during math and science workshop.
My Project
I am requesting clear desk dividers for my students to use in the classroom. The clear desk dividers will help my students feel safe when they eat or when they need to communicate with a partner during reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. These dividers will also be used when conferencing with a student or when doing small group work (limited to 2 students) at a teacher's kidney table.
Due to the COVID pandemic, these clear safety dividers will provide an additional layer of safety to help my students feel comfortable in the classroom when they learn.
