This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in a public preschool classroom in an urban environment that serves twenty students ages four and five.
My inclusive classroom is filled with diverse learners and English language learners whom all aim to please and strive to do well.
My young students value the diversity that exists in our classroom. I enjoy witnessing their appreciation and respect for one another and watching them build and maintain friendships with one another. I also enjoy the pleasurable and refreshing ways they express themselves and their curiosity and enthusiasm they apply to their daily explorations and discoveries.
My Project
My students and I would all love to be back in our classroom playing, talking, and learning together but that may not happen this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic we are living through. Distance learning is challenging and overwhelming because it's something new and my young learners are now on a computer screen instead of our beloved classroom.
A headset will assist in providing my students with live video lessons that are clear and free of background noise, making it a successful learning experience for all of my students.
An external hard drive will allow me to transfer old files and free up memory to increase the speed and improve the performance of my computer.
