This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal is to create an engaging experience for our nature leaders on campus that will encourage all students to do their part for our school. By providing our nature leaders with fun tools to use to keep our campus clean such as trash grabbers, recycle bins, small portable trash cans, and brooms and dustpans, nature leaders will live out their mission of creating a clean, safe, and engaging campus so we can have a better tomorrow. Through service, I believe we can instill a sense of well-being and mindfulness not only in our nature leaders, but all students on campus.
Your generosity will empower these young leaders to want to clean our school campus while also encouraging others in the school community to do the same.
All in all, the project embodies the spirit of the monthly Service Stars mission by nurturing the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our nature leaders who have worked so hard this year. Your generosity will not only impact these leaders, but also the entire school in this new year, as the nature leaders will be contributing to the greater mission of creating a healthier, happier, and more connected community through the power of engaging and clean environments that all students want to be a part of.
