This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach middle school Language Arts. Our school is unique in a sense that my students and I travel together from 6th grade to 8th. I teach them Language Arts for the three years they are in our school. My students are curious, creative, intelligent little beings who are always ready to learn and explore. I want to be able to provide the best for them, and hopefully you'll help! For any future donors, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
My Project
Our students are returning to school on Monday and are facing unusual challenges, and one of them is anxiety about being safe. They have burning questions like "Are we sure it's safe to go back? And are other people safe? And is it safe to touch this?"
Many of us in our school do not have cleaning supplies, and it would be great if I can get enough cleaning supplies for the majority of our classrooms.
We would be very thankful for your donation and for some children, the excitement of going back to school after so many months stuck at home will outweigh potential anxiety with the right supplies.
