This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing individuals! Most of these students reside in a low income, urban area that is underfunded. Although many of them come from tough neighborhoods and lifestyles, they are resilient, smart, and full of life. Most of my students are English Language learners who are brilliant, highly motivated, and eager to learn and be part of a safe and secure classroom community.

A clean library, where they feel safe and protected against viruses and germs, will ensure the well-being of my students.

Basic cleaning supplies like wipes, hand sanitizer, paper towels, dust removers and gloves will minimize the spread of germs and diseases. By having a clean library students will be able to embark on a clean and safe learning environment where they will be exposed to knowledge and many new adventures. My library welcomes a high number of students and staff members on a daily basis.
