My school has a high percentage of free and reduced-price lunch recipients.

We also have a high diversity of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

This year I have a mixed ability group consisting of nine boys and eleven girls. Some have grasped reading skills at a faster rate than others and some need a little more time. They are eager to learn.

My Project

It seems like someone new is getting sick every day! I am asking for cleaning supplies to help keep the germs away! The wipes would help me to clean the student desk, computer keyboards, chairs, and door knobs. This would help me to keep the spreading of germs down to a minimal. I am also asking for a swiffer mop. Keeping the floors clean would also help keep my kids germ free and sick free.

We know, too well, that attendance matters.

If I can keep my kids from getting sick, I can keep them at school. This is very important to make sure they are getting all of the subject matter they need to learn!
