This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My Pre-Kindergarten classroom is designed to be a warm and welcoming safe space for students and their families. For most of the students, this will be their first early learning experience. As four year olds, they approach learning with enthusiasm, eagerness, and excitement.
Our Pre-K students are full of joy and ambition; ready to learn, play, and grow.
I am always seeking new and innovative ways to enhance the Pre-Kindergarten learning experience. My teaching philosophy is to build a positive and healthy early childhood foundation, to prepare students for Kindergarten and other life skills.
My Project
The cleaning and storage supplies will provide the Pre-K students with plenty of opportunities to learn about the importance of maintaining a clean and organized classroom. Students will take ownership and accountability in making sure their day-to-day learning materials are neat, clean, and fresh. Every item has a place. The cleaning items will help the students learn the importance of how we can fight those little germs that we all may carry from time to time. From blowing their noses to wiping off a tabletop, the supplies will assist in the daily routine of keeping a fresh and sanitized classroom. The storage supplies will aid our students in storing classroom materials such as books, blocks, toys and manupulatives. A well-kept classroom will help my Pre-K students enjoy the many advantages of a chaotic-free learning zone. A clean and organized classroom has a positive effect on the learning environment!
