Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing, they come from all walks of life. They have to overcome so much from poverty to a range of disabilities. My students range from 3 to 5 years old. My students see the world differently. One of the ways we are learn is through sensory exploration, helping them make the connection between concrete and abstract concepts of that make the world go round.

I want to build their skills using real world applications and exploring through colors.

Using the colored bins and baskets will help them identify and sort toys by color. It will give them a real world example that creates a hands on learning experience to cement the skill in a fun and useful way. It will allow them to learn, sort and clean up independently.
