This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students need an air purifier in a classroom without windows to ensure they have access to clean, healthy air throughout the day. Without proper ventilation, indoor air can quickly become stale and filled with allergens, dust, and airborne germs, all of which can negatively impact students’ focus, energy levels, and overall well-being. An air purifier helps circulate and filter the air, reducing the buildup of harmful particles and creating a fresher, more breathable environment that supports both physical health and mental clarity.
For students with asthma, allergies, or other respiratory conditions, clean air is especially important.
In a windowless classroom, where natural airflow is limited, an air purifier can make the difference between a student being able to participate comfortably or being distracted by symptoms like coughing, sneezing, or headaches. A healthy classroom environment helps reduce absences and supports student engagement, allowing every learner to thrive without the added barrier of poor air quality.
