My Students

My students are African American and Hispanic. They come from very low-income families. Many of my children have not been exposed to many opportunities "extra" activities, such as The Children's Museum, Zoo, etc. ….things many children take for granted. Many of these children are dealing with traumatic experiences that affect their emotional well-being.

They are enthusiastic and inquisitive.

We do not have a lot of resources for these busy little ones. We could use lots of enrichment activities and resources.

My Project

We are a very busy Pre -K classroom. We use lots of paper and other materials to create. Therefore we need lots of paper, paint, and tape and other supplies. We love to have a record of what we do to share with parents. That is where the camera comes in. Then we MUST clean up! We need to sweep up our messes. Especially with the pandemic, we need to make sure our room is extra clean each day. (sweeper)

With the right tools, we can change the world!
