Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are funny, talented, and they each have their own unique personality. They are very curious about learning and finding different ways to enhance their learning. Many of my students have limited access to technology and basic school supplies. The majority receive free or reduced-price lunch. All are willing to take their learning to the next level. They need fun and interactive ways to help encourage, promote, and retain their learning. Each day my students approach learning with a positive and inspiring attitude.

My students need different ways to enhance and improve their learning with excitement.

Hopefully, this site will help continue to encourage, prepare, and promote learning in a positive and fun way to a group of eager and willing learners.

My Project

The supplies requested in this project will make a big difference in student achievement. We often teach students healthy habits, yet we don't always have the supplies needed to insure that they are actually practicing these habits. Facial tissue, hand soap, disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer can be costly.

Teachers don't always have the means to provide these items.

Therefore, funding of this project will provide students the opportunity to show that they understand the importance of healthy habits, and will, I believe, result in students being school, instead of home sick. Being at school everyday, increases the chance of them being more successful academically.
