This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
On a typical school day, our elementary school library welcomes 75 to 150 students. Those students joyfully choose a book from our shelves to checkout and then take home. Those same students often leave behind tiny papers and crumbs. Our library is also used as a school wide media center that hosts all kinds of meetings. Sometimes outside meetings in the library also need a little extra cleanup.
When a library is well organized and clean, it can be a magical place that encourages reading from all the shelves.
A vacuum and a sweeper will be used to give our library the added boosted needed to have clean, healthy, and inviting floors.
