My Project
Having an open-windowed classroom means that critters can come in at any time! Storage boxes to box up our belongings and shelves to put them on will keep our stuff safe! Our cabinets don't even have shelves, so we need to use the space by adding shelves!
Students need to be organized and happy too!
A chair pocket is just the thing for them, plus some awesome headphones to access our learning apps! In 2nd grade is also when we start learning about purchasing things with coins and the coin values, so a "gumball" machine turned into an eraser dispenser will make things engaging, but also full of learning. The magnetic hooks are also very useful to help hang various posters and pocket charts. And lastly, my students use my carpet every day... It gets messy, and the students are constantly distracted with trying to clean it up, and so to make it faster, the carpet sweeper will be a big help.
