Clean Kids, Clear Minds: Removing Hygiene Barriers to Learning

Help me give my students a hygiene resource closets. Schools that implemented a resource closet reported a drop in chronic absenteeism and increased classroom engagement within months.

My Project

Many of my students face challenges that go far beyond the classroom. Without clean clothes, deodorant, or basic hygiene supplies, they are often too embarrassed to attend school or struggle to focus when they do. According to research, students who receive hygiene support see a 90% improvement in attendance and greater classroom engagement. With your help, we can meet these essential needs and unlock their full learning potential."

When students were given access to clean clothes through school laundry programs, attendance improved in over 90% of participating students.

We are requesting mouthwash, a storage unit, feminine hygiene products, combs and makeup wipes.
