This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach seventh and eighth grade social studies on the southwest side of Chicago. The school I work for has a large population of Latino students whose first language is Spanish. The majority of students are from low-income families.

You have the comedians, Einsteins, the needy, etc.

Students are always eagerly wanting to learn. Every student is special and talented in their own way. They are all special to me.

Please support my seventh and eighth grade students in getting some items to stay healthy.

My Project

Students will be very enthusiastic to have a treat here and there for their good work. It will definitely improve student participation. Many students skip breakfast and a little treat can go a long way.

The soap as they know it is an important essential to have clean hands.

They will use the soap to stay clean as they read, work, and eat at school. It is especially important due to the pandemic we are still facing today.

Soap and a treat will for sure put a smile on a kids face.
