This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic and so excited to learn. I work in an economically challenging area. The classroom environment should be a fun and inviting place for them. The classroom may be the only place where learning is taking place using books, math tools, and technology.

I love to see their little faces as they walk into the classroom and see where they will be learning and engaging in an active environment.

We are a Title I school and resources needed are not always provided. We, as teachers, always look for ways to make sure that our students have every opportunity or resource that they need.

My Project

For my first graders the beginning of the year is exciting. They are learning about each other and exploring new things in the classroom. It is easy to pick up germs and get sick. The Clorox wipes will help to keep desks and items around the room clean. The spray will help to kill any germs lingering around in the air from sneezes or coughs. Tissues of course are always needed to wipe the noses, as the students are suffering from allergies or colds. The items are so very important to help them stay healthy and not miss any school.
