In our school community we are surrounded by shelters and domestic violence centers. Our parents are constantly looking for resources to better their circumstance. A washer and dryer would bring comfort to those families that want to provide clean clothes for their children but may not have the funds to clean their children's clothes themselves.
I am requesting a washer and dryer to use in our school to ensure that our students can focus on exactly what they need to while in the school environment, their school work.
With the washer and dryer our students and their families can wash and dry their clothes regardless of whatever situation they find themselves in. Students can discretely bring in a sealed bag that has been provided by the school to wash and dry clothes for their family.
