Help me give my students a comfortable and clean place to sit during carpet time! We spend lots of time listening to read alouds and learning at the carpet.

My Project

After years of using my several decades old small tattered and torn classroom rug, it was finally time to say goodbye. Even though it was too small to fit an entire class and was in terrible shape, it was hard to get rid of! My students are currently sitting on the vinyl flooring during “carpet” time.

Please help make our carpet time space a more comfortable and beautiful area- one that has room for all students in my classroom.

The carpet seems to be our classroom hub. It is where we meet first thing in the morning, where we listen to good books, have exciting mini-lessons, and where lots of games are played.

Adding this rug to my classroom will enhance the positive working and learning environment that I strive to maintain by making it a more beautiful and welcoming space!
