Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the school year is in full swing, our class is in need of new carpets. Our students enjoy working in small groups and benefit from alternative seating. In addition to working at their desks, they also enjoy sitting on the rug during some whole class lessons as well as independent reading and small group learning. We have 2 seating areas in our classroom that our students use. Unfortunately, our carpets have become worn out and stained and are not as visually appealing as they were.
We would appreciate any donation you are able to make so we can get new colorful carpets for our classroom.
We are also in need of new bins for homework folders and class notes.
