I am writing to request your support for essential supplies that will help improve the learning environment in my classroom and support the well-being of my students. The items I am requesting are a vacuum, Clorox wipes, hand and face wipes, and soft tissues. These supplies are vital to ensuring a clean and healthy space for all who use our classroom.
Having these supplies will make a significant difference by ensuring a clean, healthy, and comfortable classroom.
A vacuum will help keep the carpets free from dust and dirt, improving air quality and preventing allergies or discomfort for my students. Clorox wipes will allow us to disinfect surfaces regularly, reducing the spread of germs, especially as we’ve seen increased illness. Hand and face wipes will help keep students feeling clean and refreshed throughout the day, reducing distractions caused by hygiene concerns. Soft tissues will be available for students who might be dealing with colds or allergies, ensuring that they can stay focused on learning rather than discomfort. With a clean environment, students are more likely to feel healthy, safe, and ready to engage.
My goal is to create a learning space that promotes academic success and the health and well-being of my students. With fewer distractions caused by illness and a cleaner, more inviting classroom, I hope to improve student attendance and engagement.
My students are special because they come from diverse backgrounds and unique experiences. We serve a population of English language learners, students who need reading intervention, and house the technology office, meaning many staff members and students come through our classroom daily.
