My Students
At our Title I school with students who come from low-income or high-poverty homes, students are faced with challenges in and outside of the classroom. All of the students at our school receive free breakfast and lunch. Sometimes these meals are all that they may get for the day. Some of the students who are out our school face homelessness, live in shelters, motels, or are living with family members or friends.
Despite the obstacles that our students face, they show up to school with a smile on their faces and are excited to learn!
My Project
My students are coming back to the classroom! Over the last year, students have been learning virtually or a combination of in person and virtual.
With the return to students coming in person, we learned just how important it is to have a clean classroom!
My classroom needs to be restocked of cleaning supplies, such as hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray and wipes and tissues! We also need storage bags to help keep our belongings separate. These items will help keep our classroom staying healthy and clean while students are learning!
