My Project
My Transitional Kindergarten students are so motivated to learn and come to school every day. They have learned how to become independent and some have even taken on the role as "little teachers". They are also more observant of the world around them and their environment inside and outside of the classroom. They take pride in cleaning up their messes, helping with wiping the tables and even vacuuming. They have noticed, however, that the current vacuum we have has not been able to clean our carpets or floors effectively. We have a regular "house" vacuum that is not efficient and does not have the power to keep up with the dirt that is accumulated throughout the school day. A commercial-type vacuum cleaner is needed to help keep our floors clean and free of debris.
We also need more storage bins for our manipulatives and toys to help keep us organized.
