This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a nurse of a busy elementary school, I see 25-30 students daily with a multitude of needs. A lot happens in my office on a typical day. My younger students sometimes soil their pants and require to be cleaned. Baby wipes are so essential and not provided, often times, by parents due to lack of money or lack of transportation. Also, many students complain of a belly ache. Often times they are hungry or will ask for a snack. Lastly, a mop will allow me the independence to clean my own office.
